All of our suppliers have obtained UL certification including clients from US and Canada and IPC requirements are very familiar to all of them. We have different standard management systems correlated to the relevant different industries, like Automotive IATF16949, Aeronautics AS9100, Medical ISO13485, Communication TL9000, and Health OHSAS18001. All of our suppliers’ factories have acquired ISO 9001, SA8000 and ISO14001.
5S management system and Lean and Six Sigma quality system are adopted.
Every step of the manufacturing process has strict quality inspection procedures. At Rocket PCB, we never cut corners to ensure that all items are tested and accepted in accordance with IPC standards
100% visual and AOI inspection
100% incoming inspection by IQC

Quality management system is the brain center of quality control, strictly carry out quality inspection from incoming to outgoing and control every checkpoint
is what we must fulfill every day. The supervision of rocket PCB has gone far beyond the normal level of the industry and national and international standards.
Quality/Manufacturing plan is devised for a specific project to standardize the entire building process as per customers requirements.
Supply chain management
Suppliers are selected through AVL in ERP system for procurement and negotiations of the lead time.
Raw materials are inspected at the IQC stage according to the GB 2828-87 standard& data specifications.
In-process quality control is conducted by means of AOI, ICT, APT and IPC workmanship standards.
100% out-going visual inspection is conducted.
How can we guarantee the quality of the printed circuit board(PCB) we manufacture? Basically, we use the
following measures and processes to ensure that we always deliver high-quality circuit boards to our customers.
1. Design Rules Check(DRC)
The DRC is quite an important step and an in-depth review of your production data of PCB manufacturing, which is carried out by our experienced CAM engineers with GENESIS software before the production of printed circuit boards. A comprehensive Design Rule Check helps to identify any errors in advance, thus avoiding problems and complaints. We also do the Design Rule Check of PCB manufacturing to make sure the PCB design is manufacturable. If we find any errors, we will contact the customer.
2. Electrical Testing
The electrical testing(E-Test) for circuit boards is performed after they are manufactured. We use the flying probe test for small volume and prototype PCB orders, but use E-Test fixtures to test PCB orders that require batch production. The tester will check short circuits, open circuits and make sure the PCB nets we manufacture is in compliance with the nets that we design. PCB boards that are identified as defective are eliminated; defective PCB boards in panels are specially marked.
3. Automated Optical Inspection(AOI)
We use AOI to check the inner layers of multilayer PCB. This inspection is much more reliable and repeatable than manual visual inspection and it guarantees high reliability of multilayer circuit boards. AOI scans the surface of the PCB. The circuit board is lit by several light sources and observed by a scanner or by a number of high definition cameras. This ensures the monitoring of all areas of the printed circuit board. AOI used for a bare PCB board inspection will detect the features include:
• Line width violations
• Spacing violations
• Excess copper
• Missing pads
• Cutting traces or pads
• Hole breakage
Testing the layer offset with the X-ray technology is very important for the manufacturing of multilayer PCB. X-ray images are the best (and only) way to identify and correct layer displacements in the pressing process.
Drill holes in multilayer PCB are also identified and optimized using X-ray images. Any minor deviations in the geometry of the circuit board image compared with the geometry of the drill hole coordinates will be identified. By altering a correction factor within a clearly defined tolerance range, it can be ensured that the optimum drill reference point will be determined for each axis with an optimal interpolation for all layers. These corrections take place in the range of µm!
5. ISO9001:2008 and UL certified
We're an ISO 9001:2008 certified PCB manufacturer and will record the customer requirements and set up a system for communicating with customers about product information, inquiries, contracts, orders, feedback and complaints. Moreover, our quality control system is regularly audited and evaluated for conformance and effectiveness.
All our electronic board products comply with UL safety certification 94V-0. All our PCB meet a flame rating of 94V-0 and satisfy requirements of UL.
